Surface treatment

Does the machined component also require surface treatment before delivery? Hagema can coordinate surface treatment through long-term partnerships with established surface treatment companies. This allows the treatment process to be planned together with the machining operation instead of being handled as a separate step afterwards.

Surface treatment as part of the manufacturing process

A CNC-machined component is not always finished after the final machining operation. Depending on its application, the surface may need to be adapted for corrosion protection, wear resistance, surface finish or other functional requirements.

Hagema performs the machining and can, when required, coordinate subsequent surface treatment through our partners. This allows machining and surface treatment to be handled within the same manufacturing assignment.

This is relevant for both CNC milling and CNC turning when the technical drawing specifies requirements for the finished surface.

We manufacture development parts, prototypes and production components where material, tolerances, geometry and surface requirements need to be considered from the start.

From CNC machining to finished component

Hagema focuses on contract manufacturing through precision machining. By also coordinating surface treatment, additional stages can be included in the same delivery.
